Zebras Fall to Tigers

Groton fought through Rte 128 traffic to visit an always talented Thayer squad, losing in a tight see-saw battle, 9-8. A tough defense and a tempo-setting offense buoyed Groton to a 4-2 halftime lead. Thayer exploded in the third quarter, taking a two goal lead, but Groton knotted took the lead, 8-7. Thayer rebounded, scoring the final two goals to secure the win.
