Groton wins ISL opening match at home

The boys were ready to show how well they can play this wonderful game. Playing indoors on a very cold spring day, the squad (Trip Wight, Sam Lu, Miles Zhang, Thaddaeus Flatz-Ehrfeld, Charlie Stubbs, Teddy Kelleher, Max Fan, and Varun Gite) swept all eight singles and four doubles matches played against Governor's. Joining the squad today for their first match were our new managers, Kayla Zheng, Charlotte Ghaeil, and Manon Farel, who worked tirelessly to help secure this victory. Sixth Former Varun Gite is the newest addition to the varsity, joining fellow Sixth Formers Trip Wight and Max Fan.

Commented Señor Conner, "We are undefeated in the ISL. One match at a time. The boys served and volleyed in doubles, which certainly made their coach smile. St. Sebastian's is at home this Saturday.  The team will work hard to be prepared for whatever comes our way."
