Another step forward ... Groton beats St. Sebastian's

On a snowy day, the Groton boys team was thankful to be playing at home on the O'Brien courts, next to the girls team who took on St. Paul's. The afternoon ended victorious for both squads.

The doubles was particularly exciting, as Trip Wight / Miles Zhang, Sam Lu / Thaddaeus Flatz-Ehrfeld, and Charlie Stubbs / Teddy Kelleher served sharply, volleyed crisply and won all sets, and, consequently, the doubles point.  In singles, the Zebras were victorious up and down the ladder, with Max Fan joining in at #6 to win a thrilling match in the 10-point tiebreaker.

With a promise of sun and warmer weather on Monday, Groton will head over to Lawrence Academy for an afternoon match.
