Groton JV Evens Its Record in Second Game

J Funnell
A scoreless opening frame suggested that the game would be up for grabs, a very different situation from the opening game at Nobles three days earlier. The Zeebs took charge in the second quarter, carrying a 5-1 lead into half that they would build on in the second half. Everyone saw significant minutes and contributed to the team's success, but defensive standouts included Ned Kaneb and Henry Foster, playing only his second game as a goalie. On the offensive end, Daivyon Williams, Ollie Orr, Ronin Kaplan, and Cam Cunningham all had multiple goals.
