Future Stars!

Off to Gov’s, the first away game, against last week’s opponent. Last week coaches agreed that this would be a game for our future stars. We left our top skaters at home and skated all the beginners and newer skaters. Tough score, but returning goalie Lena Aloise had countless saves. The coaches saw some great improvement in the skating of all. This is a fun venture which all seem to be enjoying, and pizza on the bus on the way home is a great way to end the afternoon! We are finished until January, and when we return from winter break, we will work on stick skills, more skating, passing, shooting, positioning, and strategy. In the meantime, a long break is the excitement ahead!
