Good Depth

The Groton line-up continued to be affected by illness, injury, and other absences so the depth of our team was on full display today as dedicated players stepped up to play higher on the ladder. After some nervous starts, the Groton boys settled into their usual competitive gear and came through another match that started out looking very close on the courts but ended up lopsided on the scoreboard. The team's confidence got an early boost when Yanbo Pei pulled off an unexpected win and that momentum continued through the last match of the day, which was a strong, five-game victory by Jamie Abramson.
