Groton/Pomfret - Settle for a Tie
The GVH team settled for a 2-2 tie against a hard-skating Pomfret club. It was a back and forth game with chances in both ends - Groton at times dominating the play in all ends of the ice. It was a strong opening day in the PAS tourney. The girls are up early tomorrow morning to faceoff against Pingree School at 8am.
