Groton Earns the Win

After a last minute cancellation, Berwick made the trip down to battle against the GVH. This was Groton's first game of 2022 and first home game of the season! The girls were ready - and came out flying, going up 4-0 by the end of the first. Even with 12 girls in the lineup - every single one of them played a role and helped solidify a nice win. Shoutouts go to Tina Scalese '26 - scoring 2 goals and adding 2 assists - Ellie Smith '24 for scoring her first career Groton goal - and Veronika Hadamovsky '24 for picking up her first shutout of the season.

The group gets back to work tomorrow as they prep for an important ISL matchup against Rivers School on Friday night - at MacDowell Arena. Puck drops at 5:30pm.
