Groton Wins 7-1 vs KUA

Groton's hockey team delivered an impressive 7-1 victory over KUA on Saturday night, with standout performances from Hazel Hughes '25 and Tina Scalese '26, each netting a hat trick. Maddie Cronan '25 added a goal and two assists, helping to drive the offense. On the blue line, Tatum Friedholm '27 and Oona Kathan '26 each contributed two assists, showcasing strong play from the defense. In goal, Nora Wilson '27 turned aside 13 shots to earn her second win of the season. With a perfect 2-0 record to start the year, Groton will look to carry this momentum into an important matchup on Wednesday afternoon, when they head to Tilton School for a 4pm puck drop.
