Captains for 2023–24: Daisy Adinkrah, Inga Bartsch, Jeremy Gall, Andres Palacios

Groton's track and field team is made up of individuals who strive to achieve their personal best. The team trains and competes on the school's newly built Vuyelwa and Temba Maqubela Track and Field Complex and also regularly takes advantage of Groton's acreage and surrounding trails. The team has a mix of field and running athletes. An ongoing joke among participants is that they belong not to a track team but to a "track family." The team competes in the ISTA (Independent School Track Association) and New England Prep School Track Association (NEPSTA) Division III.
