Lacrosse - JV Boys

The Groton junior varsity lacrosse team provides opportunities for experienced players to hone their skills in preparation for careers on the varsity team, as well as the chance for beginners to try a new sport. The full program occasionally practices together, and players at all levels are invited to participate in the spring preseason training trip to Arizona. Many varsity players began on Groton's JV team.
 
The team plays a seventeen-game schedule, including fifteen games against opponents in the Independent School League and two games against top junior prep programs. Coaching focuses on fundamentals, and the JV team employs the same systems as the varsity team, which makes for a smooth transition.
