Closing Ceremony: Final Day in Edinburgh

Callum Musto & Freddy Dent
On the last day of the trip, we spent our day watching many plays. I started with a play called 300 Paintings. This show was a comedian recounting his experience with becoming an artist. The other group got to see Kafka’s Ape, a story about racism through the embodiment of an ape.
Our group had a closing dinner at an Italian restaurant where we got to exchange opinions and stories on different plays that groups got to see.

We capped our day off with an improv musical known as Shamilton.  In this rendition of the famous broadway musical, a random historical figure was shouted out from the crowd. The company then created a Hamilton style musical about this character. Our character was Voldemort. It was a great way to finish off the trip.

Lastly, we ended the evening with a gratitude circle and shared our reflections of what we’ve learned on this journey together and as individuals.
