After an active week of finding ideas, props, and clothing, Riley's dorm won Spirit Week. Spirit Week is a tradition at Groton that happens in the second to last week of every term.
The spirit heads will send out themes for each day of the week and hold competitions where each dorm competes to secure points for their dorms. My dorm did an incredible job with creativity and execution this week, nicely dressing for all the days (the ones connected are "Decades Day" and "Beach Day"). Our "minute to win it" competitors were strong in front of our rival dorms to secure us extra points. Shout out to Mrs. Riley and Sr. Conner for contributing to faculty points as well. Looking forward to spring term and track season now!
